A walk-through gate and a retractable gate manage traffic differently. One creates a rigid door within the barrier; the other rolls the barrier away when the opening is not needed.
Walk-through gate
A hinged panel can be convenient for frequent passage, but the frame and door remain present in the opening.
Retractable gate
A retractable fabric gate clears the passage more completely when open, which can help in hallways, living areas and other spaces where visual clutter and swing clearance matter.
Fit is still the first filter
Crafted Gates fit openings from 27.6 to 55 inches wide and are 33 inches tall. Measure at the actual mounting points and follow the instructions supplied with the gate.
For child use, verify tested use
Crafted Gates are intended for children ages 6–24 months and pets and have been tested by Bureau Veritas to ASTM F1004-22 and 16 CFR 1239. Follow the supplied instructions.
