“Stain-proof” and “custom fit” sound appealing, but they can hide the details that actually matter. A better approach is to choose a gate with a defined size range and a performance fabric whose care properties match the room.
Start with the specified fit
Crafted Gates fit openings from 27.6 to 55 inches wide and are 33 inches tall. Measure at the actual attachment points and follow the instructions supplied with the gate.
Compare performance fabrics
Crypton® helps resist stains, moisture and odors and has an upholstery-like feel. Milliken® and InsideOut® are designed for indoor/outdoor performance.
Use “resistant,” not “proof”
No textile should be treated as immune to every stain or condition. Follow the specific care instructions for the selected fabric and address spills promptly.

Crafted Gates are intended for children ages 6–24 months and pets and have been tested by Bureau Veritas to ASTM F1004-22 and 16 CFR 1239.
