Fabric dog gates can be durable, but “fabric” alone does not tell you how a gate will perform. Durability depends on the textile, construction, installation, environment and—most importantly—the pet using it.
Performance fabric matters
Crafted Gates uses performance textiles including Crypton®, Milliken®, InsideOut® and Oil Waxed Canvas. Each is selected for a different combination of appearance, cleaning and everyday durability.
Pet behavior matters even more
A gate used as a visual boundary for a trained dog faces a different load than one challenged by a pet that jumps, scratches or repeatedly pushes against barriers. Choose a barrier appropriate to your individual pet.
Inspect the gate regularly
Check fabric and components for damage. If the barrier is damaged or no longer secure for the intended use, stop using it until the issue is resolved.
Crafted Gates fit openings from 27.6 to 55 inches wide and are 33 inches tall. Always measure at the actual mounting points and follow the instructions supplied with the gate.
